The Rick Ott Band is based out of Sopchoppy, Florida, Music Capital of Northwest
Florida. The band members are Rick Ott on guitar and vocals, Stan Gramling on bass and vocals and Tony Heiberger on drums,
percussion and vocals. Veteran musicians, the band’s specialty is live concerts
performing original music , but because of their love of music the band can be found performing all genres of music in venues
throughout the southeast.
The Band’s sound is deeply rooted
in blues, jazz, gospel, country and rock and roll and represents the unique sounds generated by the giant melting pot called
the South. Home base also includes a very close relationship with From The Heart Recording Studio where
the band members record as a group as well as tracking solo projects. The band members routinely appears on CDs as studio
musicians recording with other artist. Recently, the Band appeared on “From The
Heart Music Hour” - Live from The Monticello House, a video pilot filmed for local PBS affiliate WFSU-TV.
They were also a featured artist on “From The Heart Music Hour” radio program that ran for several years
on 106.5 FM Oyster Radio. In addition the band hosted “From The Heart Music Hour” - Live from
Hamaknockers Oasis. The show featured original artists doing live performances at the Hamaknockers Oasis venue. The show was
